Mentor in spotlight

Ali Uren

Having been part of the social entrepreneurial space since 2006, Ali Uren established Kiikstart in early 2008 as skill gaps were identified in the market in terms of the execution of ideas.

People, Government, community services and private enterprise speak a lot about ideas, innovation and strategy but not enough focus is on the successful execution of these ideas into existing, new and emerging markets. Kiikstart is committed to the successful and smart execution of ideas via a creative and entrepreneurial style of learning and development. It is about not only the mere idea but more importantly the how, and seeing this through to fruition - the practical application of innovation to create change.

Ultimately Kiikstart works with others to create organisations and physical environments staff and customers want to be part of for the long term. Kiikstart creates businesses that have the ability to surprise the customer and to challenge commonly held perceptions and beliefs about what they can expect when doing business with certain brands.
