The Australian eChallenge NextGen

Cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit

The University of Adelaide’s ECIC and Family Business Education and Research Group (FBERG), in partnership with Family Business Australia and the Department of State Development, are introducing a family business stream into the Australian eChallenge program.

To be called ‘The Australian eChallenge NextGen’, this exciting new stream will initially offered in South Australia in 2015. The overarching purpose of the NextGen eChallenge is to assist family enterprises in cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit of the next generation of leaders.

As with the current Australian eChallenge Program, the NextGen eChallenge will be a structured educational and mentoring program that assists family firms in working with the next generation of leaders in translating entrepreneurial and innovative ideas into reality. Tangible outcomes from the program may include the development of new ventures, products, services, or processes that serve to create innovative ways to engage with existing, emerging, and new markets nationally and / or overseas.
