What is Ecoversity?

Ecoversity is the University's sustainability engagement program.

All Ecoversity activities, campaigns and events are geared towards developing a campus culture that values and applies sustainable practices. Our vision for the University of Adelaide is a place where sustainability is embedded in the actions of staff and students who value natural resources; waste less; adopt new technologies and practices; and make sustainable choices on campus.

Green Gown Award Winners!

The University of Adelaide has picked up three awards in the 2017 ACTS Green Gown Awards (GGA) - the only Award Scheme dedicated to recognising excellence in sustainability within the Australiasian tertiary education sector.

Having been shortlisted in five award categories, the University was Highly Commended in the Facilities & Services (Schulz BMS upgrade) and Community (Carbon Neutral Adelaide Partnership) categories, and took home the coveted Student Engagement award for the ongoing work of the Adelaide Sustainability Association.
