Paper & Cardboard Recycling

Recycling paper and cardboard helps to maximise valuable materials and reduce waste to landfill.

Blue paper/cardboard bins and orange confidential paper bins are located near printers and alongside most recycling stations in all buildings.

Paper and cardboard products can go in the yellow bin, but it’s better to separate them in the blue bin with other clean and dry materials so they can be recycled into higher-grade paper products.

What you can do

  • Read the bins signs and recycle correctly.
  • Recycle paper and cardboard in the blue bin.
  • Empty your under-desk paper recycling box into a large paper recycling bin every few months.
  • Empty all plastic packaging and flatten boxes before putting them in the bin.

To order bins for an office clean-out or recycling station, request an infrastructure service (waste). 60, 240 and 660 liter bins are available.
