Get Gardening!

Share gardening skills, meet fellow green-thumbs and pick fresh produce to eat.

Funded in 2018 and 2015 through the Green Project Fund, our gardens are maintained by student and staff volunteers.

Roseworthy Student Garden

The newest edible garden is located at the heart of the Roseworthy campus. Not only does it look fantastic but nearly all of the materials used were reclaimed from across the university's campuses. The garden features various seating areas for students to socialise and study in, as well as providing fresh produce for those on campus.

Waite Community Garden

Located behind Lirra Lirra Cafe, the Waite Community Garden aims to foster an appreciation of the benefits and challenges of growing fresh produce at home and in the local community. Users can learn about worm farming, waste minimisation, management of pests, disease and weeds, and how to work together to produce great results.
