Structure and Governance
Key features of the network governance and review procedures:
- Network Research Programs/Workshops whose progress is monitored by the Executive
Management Committee. Funding past the first year for all programs would be assessed
and determined against specific outcomes set by the program coordinators
- External review of the network's research programs, in terms of research results, training programs, international involvement, delivery of information to stakeholders/endusers, and operation and effectiveness of e-science, by an independent, high-level auditing group. This group would review the Network's activities at 36 months, making specific recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of the network during its operation.
