Open Innovation Partnership
Fostering collaborations between the University and AstraZeneca that will result in new
therapies benefiting people around the world.
The University has partnered with global biopharmaceutical company AstraZeneca have to provide an opportunity for researchers to collaborate with AstraZeneca’s industry-leading scientists and develop new medicines.
This partnership will allow University researchers access to AstraZeneca’s optimized compounds, technologies, multi-disciplinary science, services and know-how, with the aim of joint publications in high profile journals and to see ideas develop into treatments for patients.
The partnership will provide AstraZeneca with a better understanding of the depth of research conducted at the University of Adelaide, and allow researchers a significant opportunity to liaise with key industry scientists and obtain early stage feedback from one of the world’s largest pharma companies.
- Submit concept proposal – 7 August 2017
- Shortlisting & invitation for full proposal – 21 August 2017
- Submit full proposal – 11 September 2017
- Final Decision – Mid Nov 2017
Applications will be administered by Research Business Partnerships.
