  • Teaching Endowment Fund

    Elder Conservatorium of Music Development Plan

    Maintaining an elite program of time intensive, individualised training is essential to producing musicians of the appropriate skill level to gain best employment opportunities. This Fund will ensure the individual teaching of mainstream instruments will always be available to students; and sheltered from budgetary pressures.

  • Scholarship Endowment Fund

    Elder Conservatorium of Music Development Plan

    A sustainable scholarship fund will provide the incentive to join the Conservatorium where there is a choice between studying elsewhere or, because of restricted means, not at all. Scholarships include undergraduate, honours and Masters/PhD.

  • Open Music Academy Pathway Endowment Fund

    Elder Conservatorium of Music Development Plan

    In addition to offering scholarships to attract and retain the best students, there is an equal and urgent need for positive intervention to ensure primary and secondary students engage in classical music. Scholarships and bursaries support instrument and music hire, travel assistance and fee-waivers for students qualifying for means-tested assistance.

    Employability and opportunities for graduates coming out of the Conservatorium are factors that will have significant impact on its standing and reputation. This Fund offers students real-life exposure outside the classroom, broadening their musical perspective through master classes, workshops and internships.

    While the Conservatorium is dedicated to preserving and promoting the performance of classical and jazz music, it is essential to be at the cutting edge of technical developments in contemporary music and the understanding and proliferation of Indigenous music through the Centre for Aboriginal Studies in Music (CASM).

    The provision of regular and quality performances is an important function of a maintream musical academy to showcase its work and the achievement of students. This Fund is designed to assist advanced Elder musicians with performance expenses and preparation for competitions.

  • Instrument Support Endowment Fund

    Elder Conservatorium of Music Development Plan

    Facilities are a high cost element associated with a music academy. They range from musical instruments for students who struggle to afford their own, to recording equipment and performance buildings. This Endowment will set-up a permanent loan scheme to assist students with instrument costs.
