Student Support
We believe that a University of Adelaide education should be accessible. That is why we are committed to providing scholarships and grants to students experiencing financial or personal hardship.
Support new scholarships: One Bright Future
Empower the aspirations of our deserving students by establishing a named scholarship through our One Bright Future initiative.
This unique opportunity enables you to make a profound impact by supporting scholarships across disciplines and academic levels to the faculty of your choice. Join us in crafting a brighter tomorrow, one piece at a time!
Augustus Short Scholarships
Created to support high-performing students who are financially and/or geographically disadvantaged, these scholarships are one of the most influential ways you can support our students. Augustus Short Scholarships offer students meaningful financial support throughout their undergraduate degree, removing barriers to their participation in higher education.
Support students in crisis
Unexpected events that cause significant financial difficulty, such as personal hardship (e.g. illness or injury), a major life event (e.g. death of a loved one or loss of employment), or unprecedented emergency disaster (e.g. bushfires, droughts and global pandemics) are experienced by many of our students.
Indigenous Support Fund
Established in 2021, the purpose of the Indigenous Support Fund is to improve access to tertiary study and facilitate better higher education outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
Children's University
Children's University supports youth from our most vulnerable communities, encouraging children and young teenagers to see their futures as bright, promising and exciting. Children's University offers educational experiences, helping children discover new talents, and recognising their achievements with formal graduation ceremonies.
Support students with a disability
Established by alumni Alastair McEwin AM, and his husband Professor Michael Kidd AM, the Alastair McEwin Scholarship supports undergraduate or postgraduate coursework students who have a disability.
Adelaide Law School 150 Club
Be a part of the University of Adelaide’s 150th anniversary by joining the “Adelaide Law School 150 Club”, providing a gift to support future students.
Your gift will support the John Bray Law Scholarship for students undertaking studies in law at the University of Adelaide and you will be acknowledged on a digital donor board in the Law School Ligertwood Building and on the Adelaide Law School website.
Seat of Discovery
Make your mark and leave a legacy for the future by becoming a member of the 150 Club of Discovery at the University of Adelaide through the 150th Celebration Seat of Discovery campaign.
Dean of Law's Fund
The Dean of Law's Fund supports students who are studying law at the University of Adelaide, and who are experiencing financial difficulties which impact their studies. Your gift will directly provide assistance to students who urgently need short-term help with education or living expenses.
