Food standards course

The Centre for Global Food and Resources organised a short course on ‘Food Standards Regulations and Familiarisation’ as part of an early outcome of the ongoing negotiation of the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA).

The program was organised for Australia Awards Indonesia in partnership with Institute for International Trade. Delegates representing government sector officials and business leaders were part of the program. The program was offered in three different streams:

  • Food Stream
  • Herbal Stream
  • Pharmaceutical Stream

The Centre for Global Food and Resources coordinated the course for the ‘Food Stream’. The delegates consisted of representatives from the Indonesian Ministry of National Development and Planning, The National Agency of Drug and Food Control, National Standardization Agency of Indonesia and a dynamic mix of entrepreneurs and business leaders from the agrifood sector.
