Our Research

The Centre for Global Food and Resources is an exciting evolution, building on the University of Adelaide’s established international standing as a leader in high impact food and resources research.

Our networks extend across the globe with strong research partnerships with agricultural, food, health and environmental scientists, as well as industry, government and NGOs. This unique Centre conducts world-class innovative interdisciplinary research, using a whole of systems approach.

Broadly addressing research into healthy, resilient agri-food, water and environmental systems, the Centre is targeting six specific research areas:

We address economic, policy, agribusiness and social issues affecting global food systems. In addition, we connect relevant partners ranging from industry organisations and enterprises to government institutions and policy makers. This improves translation and uptake of research.
