The Centre for Global Food and Resources conducts world-class innovative interdisciplinary research, using a whole of systems approach.
In the Centre for Global Food and Resources we address economic, policy, agribusiness and social issues affecting global food systems. In addition, we engage with relevant partners ranging from industry organisations and enterprises to government institutions and policy makers. This engagement improves the translation and use of our research findings in decision-making and policies. Broadly addressing research into healthy, resilient agri-food, water and environmental systems, the staff and students in the Centre conduct research in six key areas. These areas include: resilient landscapes; water policy; food policy; international development; healthy societies; and food system innovation.
