Transforming Markets for High-Value Agricultural Commodities in Indonesia: Promoting Competitiveness and Inclusion
This ACIAR research project explores the progress to address smallholder participation in Indonesia’s agricultural value chains.
The research team examines the patterns, determinants and effects of successful value chain upgrading on small holders, documenting project and policy lessons on how to address constraints to improve participation and chain upgrading.
The project is a collaborative effort, implemented under the leadership of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), the team includes:
- The University of Adelaide
- Michigan State University
- The Indonesian Centre for Agriculture Socio-Economic, and Policy Studies (ICASEPS)
- The Centre for Agrifood Policy and Agribusiness Studies (CAPAS)
