    Election of academic staff to Academic Board 2023

    Nominations for the election of academic staff to Academic Board closed on 8 May 2023. 

    Where only one nomination was received for a vacancy, that nominee was declared elected when nominations closed on 8 May 2023.

    Where more than one nomination was received, a ballot was held. Voting closed on 26 May 2023.

    Voting in the election of an academic staff member (level A-D) from the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics closed at 10am on Friday 26 May 2023.

    Duygu Yengin received 58.9% of the vote and was declared elected.

    Voting in the election of an academic staff member (level A-D) from the Faculty of the Sciences, Engineering and Technology closed at 10am on Friday 26 May 2023.

    Stephen Pyecroft received 51.5% of the vote and was declared elected.

    Term of office

    The successful candidates are declared elected for a two-year term from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2025.

    Election of staff representatives to the University Council

    Voting closed at 10am on 9 December 2022.

    Professor Joanne Bowen was elected to the academic staff position and Mr Lachlan Coleman was elected to the professional staff position on University Council for the term 6 March 2023 to 5 March 2025.

  • UniSuper

    Election of a Professional Staff Representative to the UniSuper Consultative Committee.

    Mr Ricky Williams was elected to the position of Professional Staff Representative to the UniSuper Consultative Committee for a term of four years.
