The AGRS is pleased to announce an exciting new internship opportunity for a PhD student to work on a global development project with International NGO Cufa.

Cufa (Credit Union Foundation of Australia) is an international development agency committed to economic empowerment in the Asia-Pacific region. The organisation is currently completing an end of project evaluation of its 3-year 'Cambodia Livelihoods' investment to inform the next phase, and is inviting applications from University of Adelaide PhD students to undertake a research internship on this project. The successful applicant will work alongside industry leaders to evaluate outcomes, and will have the opportunity for interstate (4-5 business days in Sydney) and overseas travel (2 weeks in Cambodia in March with key organisational staff). Travel and accommodation expenses will be fully covered by Cufa, and the AGRS will support eligible students with a research internship scholarship (for 60 business days at the standard RTP rate). An expected commencement date is 1/2/2023.

PhD students from the social sciences, and particularly development studies, are encouraged to apply. For more information about eligibility requirements and the application process please visit the AGRS Research Internships website, or contact the HDR Internships team.
