Information for Postgraduate Coordinators
Postgraduate Coordinator responsibilities
Research training at the University involves the active participation of both staff and students. The responsibility for ensuring that it is conducted in the most efficient and effective manner is shared by all parties: the University, the faculties, schools, staff and students, all have obligations to each other. The responsibilities of the various participants are summarised in Appendix 2 of the research student handbook.
Postgraduate Coordinator forum
All Postgraduate Coordinators are invited to attend forums 3 times per year, usually in February, July and November. The Dean of Graduate Studies provides an update and HDR matters, current and new Graduate Centre initiatives are explored, and it is a great opportunity to network with other PGCs. Invitations are sent via email approximately 4 weeks prior to scheduled forums.
List of current Postgraduate Coordinators
A complete list of the University HDR Postgraduate Coordinators is maintained by the Graduate Centre. Please contact the Graduate Centre if the list needs to be updated.
