Healthy Minds at the University of Adelaide
Twenty percent of Australians experience mental illness in any given year. The University of Adelaide supports mental health programs and encourages staff, students and family members to seek help when they need it, without fear, judgement or stigma.
The University is committed to providing ongoing support to staff and students with a mental illness and provides a variety of pathways to access information, advice and direct assistance, as each person’s needs are different.
Below are also some resources to assist Managers/Supervisors and staff with some practical guidance on how to support a staff member or student who may need assistance in relation to a mental health illness.
24 hour emergency support is available for urgent issues, if you or someone you know feels suicidal or is at risk of self harm or harm to others.
