You might be interested to know about the Get Healthy Information and Coaching Service® which is a free service offered by SA Health to support people to make healthy lifestyle change.
Get Healthy is a telephone coaching service to help South Australian adults make changes to improve diet, be more active, manage weight and enhance overall well-being. Enjoying a healthy lifestyle decreases the risk of developing serious long-term illness such as type 2 diabetes and heart disease and also increases the opportunities for people to be active participants in their community.
Get Healthy is available to all adults across South Australia from 8:00am to 8:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Interested people can register by calling 1300 806 258 or on-line at www.gethealthy.sa.gov.au. All participants can receive up to 10 telephone sessions with their personal qualified health coach. More information about the service is available at www.gethealthy.sa.gov.au
