Glenthorne Farm transfers to State for new national park

Glenthorne National Park has taken a major step closer to becoming a reality, with the official transfer of land from the University of Adelaide to the State Government now signed.

Julia Gillard awarded honorary doctorate

The University of Adelaide recognised the outstanding contributions to society of four eminent Australians during the University’s April and May graduation ceremonies.

Former Prime Minister the Hon. Julia Gillard AC; South Australia’s Chief Scientist, Professor Caroline McMillen; Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of Queensland Professor Peter Høj AC; and renowned ecologist Professor Hugh Possingham, were awarded honorary doctorates.
