Associate Director - Service Delivery

Christopher Harrison

The Associate Director, Service Delivery is responsible for the provision of facilities management and support services across the University’s property portfolio to support the University’s core learning, teaching and research activities.

The portfolio ensures the management of mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic, electrical, vertical transport, water treatment, fume cupboards, pest control, building, security, grounds, transport, mail services, fire and emergency management services, cleaning, caretaking, waste management, and car parking for staff and students.

Additionally, the portfolio oversees the management of bookable spaces, performance venue management and liquor licensing and horticultural services including the maintenance of all University parks, grounds, sports fields and North Terrace, Roseworthy, and Waite campuses and the National Wine Centre.

  • Provision of general office management & project support to the Associate Director - Service Delivery
  • Provision of HR support, T&E, University e-Procurement
  • Contract and tender administrative support
  • Backup executive support and office functions to all Infrastructure portfolios as required

Manager - Operations

Tony Reynolds

Responsibilities:

  • Directs and co-ordinates the activities of staff, service providers and consultants to develop and implement and deliver programmed and non-programmed maintenance activities to the University’s property portfolio.
  • Responsible for managing the operation and maintenance of University buildings, building services and other physical assets occupied by large, complex and diverse organisational units comprising a significant number of technical facilities.

Facility Manager - AHMS

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure liaison for the AHMS Building
  • Coordinate, monitor, measure & the day-to-day activities of the service providers engaged to provide a range of support services functions within the AHMS Building.

 


Facilities Manager - Waite

  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance of campus buildings & facilities,
  • Assist with managing minor projects,
  • Work closely with service providers,
  • Liaise with key stakeholders on campus.

Site Supervisor - Waite

Manager - Contract Services

  • Management of operations contracts delivered across all campuses and the NWC including:
    • Parks, grounds and sports fields

Contract Administration Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support to the Manager Contract Services
  • Assist/develop documentation and management of Service Contracts
  • Support Service Delivery team with administration and financial approval processes 
  • Parking administration


Maintenance Scheduling Officer

Natalie Beasley

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager, Contract Services with Maintenance Planning & Contract Services Support
  • Maintenance record management
  • Maintain and update the University plant and equipment registers
  • Assistance with Procurement and services/works delivery.

Manager - Mechanical Services

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management of mechanical, fume extraction and water treatment services across the University campuses.


Coordinator - Mechanical & Electrical Services

Ben Hatcher

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day operations for Electrical Services at the University.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders with regard to planned maintenance and additional service tasks.
  • Interact with projects teams to ensure there is minimal impact on the University community with regard to outages.
  • Work with Service Delivery team to package works and minimise disruptions.
  • Manage additional electrical services as required.
  • Undertake planning and manage projects around upgrades of key infrastructure.

Senior Technical Officer - Plumbing and ESP's

John Edge

Responsibilities:

  • Management of Service Provider contracts relating to compliance, testing, maintenance and repair of:
    • Emergency Evacuation, Warning, Fire Protection, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting systems (Essential Safety Provisions),
    • Mains water supply and contaminant protection of, waste water, sewer, trade waste, storm water reticulated and natural gas systems (Plumbing & Hydraulics).


Coordinator - Cleaning & Waste Services

Jim Mikromanolis

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, monitor, measure & report on the day-to-day activities of the service providers engaged to provide a range of cleaning, caretaking, waste management and support services functions.
  • Assist in the monitoring, managing & reporting of the technical and operational performance of Cleaning, Waste Management, Caretaking & Common Teaching Area Management services.
  • Provide support to the University community & key stakeholders to ensure the cleaning, support & waste management services are delivered.

Team Leader - Support Desk

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the day-to-day operation of the Infrastructure Support Desk, including:
    • Customer enquiries & requests
    • Monitoring of service desk performance & continuous improvement
  • Co-ordinate responses to high priority service requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Process work requests and maintenance queries
  • Assist Contractors with keys and permits
  • Carry out reporting and KPI’s for Technical Officers/Contractors.

Manager - Security Services

Mark Kennedy

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Security Services functions across the University’s operating environment providing a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students and staff of the University of Adelaide.
  • In addition, the role includes the management of critical incident and emergency response arrangements, as well as managing the activities of specialist service providers to Security Services functions.
