Courier Services

Toll and Australia Post provide all courier requirements for all University Departments including local, intrastate, interstate and international services.

Each can move consignments of any size from documents to parcels to pallets. Please refer to guidelines to ensure parcels arrive when required.

Local Courier

  • Toll Fast

    Toll Fast offer a range of tailored delivery services to suit the University. For on demand, time critical, point-to-point services across all Metropolitan areas, you have three levels of service to choose from:

    Priority 1
    To deliver your document or parcel within 20 minutes of booking To despatch the best available courier immediately and direct drive your document or parcel to the destination*
    Express
    To deliver your document or parcel within 40 minutes of booking To deliver your document or parcel within 2 hours of booking*
    Standard
    To deliver your document or parcel within 60 minutes of booking To deliver your document or parcel within 3 hours of booking*

    *Estimated suburb specific delivery times are quoted at time of booking, providing you with an ETA to which Toll Fast expects to be held accountable.

    Taxi Truck Services

    Taxi Truck Services are available for bulk deliveries through a diverse range of vehicles from 2 tonne vehicles to semi-trailers. You can also access specialised vehicles including tailgate lifters, tautliners, trays, box vans and refrigerated vehicles.
    Extra persons are also available for those large jobs where additional assistance is required to minimise loading & unloading time and ensure driver and workplace safety.

Nationwide Courier - Overnight & Off Peak

  • Toll Priority

    Domestic Services – Overnight & Off Peak

    • Australia wide freight delivery
    • Overnight – Overnight Express Delivery
      • Ensures urgent packages are delivered to most locations by 10:30am the next business day.
      • Prepaid satchels are also available for these services available in the following sizes: 1, 3 and 5kg Satchel and 3kg Label
      • Door-to-Door Delivery, Proof of Delivery and Online Tracking is included.
    • Off-Peak – Non Urgent Road Deliveries
      • Competitively priced road express freight delivery to cater for those not so urgent packages. Prices are comparable with Australia Post parcel pricing with equivalent or better transit times and a full proof of delivery traceable service.

    Attach the consignment note to the parcel you are sending and leave for collection with your mail or contact the mailroom on 8425 1211 or at adelaide.mailroom@tollgroup.com to arrange a later collection.

    Australia Post and Adelaide University have established an agreement on competitive pricing for all of these service options.

International Services

  • Toll Priority Global
    • Worldwide express delivery
    • Global Express Document & Parcel Service
      • International door-to-door express service for urgent parcels (non-documents) to over 220 countries with web based shipment tracking and can be accessed via an authorised University login once registered with Toll Online.

    Please note for non-document sendings a commercial invoice is required detailing the contents of the shipment and commercial value for customs purposes.

    Import services are also available for collections from overseas locations and return to Australia.

  • Australia Post

    International Mail Services

    Australia Post also offers a number of international mail services, for both letters and parcels, that are available at business customer rates.

    International rates, like parcel rates, offer a combined “spend” of University to establish the best offer.

    Like parcels, services vary dependent on the actual requirement of both delivery and additional service features.

    All Australia Post pricing is available and is GST inclusive, where applicable” and does not incur additional account or fuel surcharges.
