On 10th March 2022 more than 25 members of the PRIF Mining Consortium, the ARC Training Centre and IMER attended the AusIMM International Women’s Day event at the National Wine Centre. The PRIF financially supported its member’s participation. The keynote speaker, Gill Hicks, was inspiring. We had a good time and there was a sense of community among PRIF and TC participants.

Congratulations to Associate Professor Markus Wagner, one of the Chief Investigators of PRIF Mining Consortium, on his new position as Acting Head of the School of Computer Science.
We look forward to working together with our research and industry partners in developing tools to integrate the entire mining value chain by using machine learning, sensors and data analytics and creating technology solutions to maximise copper production.
