ISER Attends ICCC 2025

ICCC25 ISER Banners

ISER was proud to attend the 2025 international Climate Change Conference, hosted by the Department of Environment and Water SA.

Over the two days, we heard from more than 70 sustainability experts who shared insights into key trends, financial risks, climate solutions, and emerging opportunities in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Professor Kannan Govindan, ISER member and Director of CSORC, participated in the “Measuring Your Emissions” panel. He emphasised the importance of tracking emissions, particularly in high-emission sectors, consumer-facing brands, financial institutions, and public sector cities. Measuring emissions, he noted, is crucial for meeting regulatory deadlines, gaining market advantages, reducing costs, and enhancing brand reputation.

At the University of Adelaide booth, we welcomed many familiar and new faces. Dr. Ivan Indriawan spoke to attendees about his research, supported by ISER through the FAME initiative, focusing on the Australian Green Investment Index. This interdisciplinary project evaluates the scope of green investment across Australian states.

It was a great two day event, we’re excited to what’s next!
