Elleke Boehmer is Professor of World Literature in English at the University of Oxford and a member of the JMCCCP at the University of Adelaide. She is a founding figure in the field of postcolonial literature, and her many contributions to it include the recent Postcolonial Poetics. She is the author of four acclaimed novels and a collection of stories. Her latest book, The Shouting in the Dark & Other Southern Writing, will be published by the University of Western Australia Press in February 2019. For more info, see ellekeboehmer.com.

Gillian Dooley is an honorary senior research fellow at Flinders University and an affiliate of the JMCCCP. For many years the founding editor of Transnational Literature, she is now the founding co-editor of Writers in Conversation.
