Gabriella Smart is awarded a 2019 APRA AMCOS Art Music Award.

Congratulations to Soundstream artistic director Dr Gabriella Smart, who is the South Australian State Award recipient for Excellence by an Individual as part of the 2019 APRA AMCOS Art Music Awards.

Presented each year by APRA AMCOS and the Australian Music Centre, the Art Music Awards recognise achievement in the composition, performance, education and presentation of Australian art music. Art music covers activity across contemporary classical music, contemporary jazz and improvised music, experimental music and sound art.

The 2019 Art Music Awards was held on Monday 19 August at The Great Hall of The University of Sydney.
