Dear Participant, you are invited to participate in the research project described below.
What is the project about?
This project aims to explore students’ current experiences with their digital learning environment, and with digital learning and teaching at the University of Adelaide.
Who is undertaking the project?
This project is being conducted by Professor Philippa Levy, Mr Travis Cox, Ms Colleen Ortega, and Mr Mark Wittervan from the Office of the Division of Academic and Student Engagement at the University of Adelaide.
Why am I being invited to participate?
You are invited to share feedback because you are a current student at the University of Adelaide. Whether you participate in this research has no impact on your grades or relationship with the University.
What will I be asked to do?
If you consent to participating, you will be asked to complete an online survey. The survey will ask you about your digital learning experiences. Responses will remain anonymous.
How much time will the project take?
The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. No follow-up sessions will be required. Participants will not be reimbursed (see Terms and Conditions).
Are there any risks associated with participating in this project?
There are no foreseeable risks associated with participation in this survey.
What are the benefits of the research project?
The research seeks to enhance and facilitate future educational change focussed on improved student digital learning experiences. You will not receive direct benefits from completing this survey.
Can I withdraw from the project?
Participation in this project is completely voluntary. If you agree to participate, you can withdraw from the study until you submit the survey. Non-participation will not affect your ongoing relationship with the University.
What will happen to my information?
The information collected will be used in the project named above and the data collected may be used for papers to relevant University committees; conference presentations; scholarly journal articles; and future research projects. All responses will remain confidential and you will not be identifiable in any publications because the survey is anonymous. The results will not be available to participants,

The study has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee at the University of Adelaide (approval number H-2018-076). If you have questions or problems associated with the practical aspects of your participation in the project, or wish to raise a concern or complaint about the project, then you should consult the Principal Investigator.
