Learning and Teaching Grant Winners 2011
The Australian Learning & Teaching Council (ALTC)* administers the learning and teaching grant scheme for Australian universities, on behalf of the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, Australian Government.
ALTC Learning & Teaching Grants
Associate Professor Mark Jaksa, Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences, has been awarded an Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) Grant of $199,000 for a project entitled Developing engaging, effective and enlightening practical experiments in geotechnical engineering.
Dr John Willison from the Centre for Learning and Professional Development has been awarded an ALTC grant of $150,000 for project entitled Outcomes and uptake of explicit research skill development across degree programs: 'It's got a practical application in my world'.
