Panel: Student engagement, assessment design and academic integrity

Open to University of Adelaide staff and students

Research on academic integrity in Australian universities has established three key factors which can lead students to cheat: opportunity, vulnerability, and dissatisfaction with the teaching and learning environment (Bretag et al, 2018).  In this interactive panel session, Academic Integrity Officers and Learning Design experts from the University of Adelaide discuss the ways that assessment design can encourage and support students to work with integrity.

Paul Moss, Learning Design and Capability Manager, Learning Enhancement & Innovation

Dr David Wilson, Academic Integrity Officer, Adelaide Medical School
