Academic Integrity Awareness Week Roundup

Students know their Do's and Donut's

Students showed off their knowledge of academic integrity (AI) during Awareness Week (18-22 Oct).

350 students visited stalls on North Terrace and Waite campuses to play the ‘Is This Ok?’ game in exchange for free donuts. The vast majority of students answered their questions correctly, demonstrating a keen understanding of AI best practice.

You can play the game with your students any time by downloading it from the Activities section of our website.

Those who could not attend in person were able to access the fun, online game "chill or shady", or joined over 120 students for an online workshop on paraphrasing technique, suggesting that this might be an area for further support.

Share our interactive video about paraphrasing with your students.

Our Academic Integrity Ambassadors were active on social media, testing students’ knowledge and sharing tips for working with integrity. Over 5000 answers were received to academic integrity quiz questions via the University’s Instagram stories.
