Communities of Practice

The University of Adelaide Communities of Practice are sponsored by the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Learning), and provide an opportunity for groups of staff and students to come together on a regular basis to discuss topics of strategic relevance to the institution, and to deepen their knowledge and expertise.
Flipped ClassroomAcademics, e-learning advisors, early career teachers and researchers representing each faculty from across the university.
Discovery LearningA community of staff and students to explore inclusive learning and teaching practices.
Diversity & InclusionA collegial community of scholars who explore Discovery Learning for research and best practice.
Learning AnalyticsA community for staff to explore the potential for learning analytics to improve student learning.
eLearningA community for staff interested in the development of digital learning resources, and pedagogies, the transition of courses from face-to-face to online delivery, MOOCs, and/or evaluation of the impact of e-learning strategies on student learning.
EmployabilityIdentifying, developing and sharing best practice:
in Faculties, University-wide, Nation-wide
Student EngagementA community of people who want to learn, share and apply best practice for student engagement.
Virtual RealityA community of staff and students who are exploring the use of virtual (VR) and augmented (AR) reality in creating exciting and effective teaching opportunities.
