2.1 Memoirs, 1902-75
Typescript copy, and correspondence re proposed publication of the Memoirs, the deposit of copies with libraries in Canberra, Oxford and Cambridge, and comments from colleagues and friends on the manuscript, 1975-1976.

"These Memoirs are an edited and typed version from the unexpurgated handwritten originals which were destroyed. They are unpublished but copies have been distributed only to my sons and 3 libraries. This is no. 3 of 5 copies. Travelling back was derived from the memoirs."

2.2 "Speaking Personally" 1979
Draft text, transcripts, phonotape (22 reels) and related correspondence of talks by Crocker broadcast from 6th March to 4th April 1979  in ABC series "Speaking Personally"

"Speaking Personally" created a certain interest and led Sir Walter to write Travelling back.]

2.3 Travelling Back
Correspondence with Macmillans and reviews and correspondence with readers.

Transcript of a tape-recorded interview by Dr. T.B. Millar made for the National Library of Australia in July 1977.

2.5 Transcript of interview with Gian Carlo Manara 1971 for proposed ABC documentary on the Australian Diplomatic Service [not pursued]
