Draft typescript of the second part of L.A. Triebel’s work on the German language press in South Australia 1848-1916. 260 p.
(In 1958-1959 L.A. Triebel was engaged by the University of Adelaide under a University Research grant to write material on Germans in the Barossa Valley, completing his research in approximately August 1962 - information supplied by Professor Brian Coghlan. L.A. Triebel was later appointed Professor of Modern Languages at the University of Tasmania, retiring in 1956. He died in 1985)
Note: never published. The final version is available as: Pt. V. ‘The early secular German-language press in South Australia (1848-1916) together with an estimate of the degree of assimilation of South-Australian Germans and the influence and meaning of Deutschtum; A survey of the evolution of the German migrant press and an analysis of its contents’ of Triebel’s manuscript compilation “Of The early South-Australian German colonists with special reference to the Barossa Valley and the Adelaide Hills: an investigation based on source documents”
