- Part letter (½ page, p. 3-4) from Robertson [to Dr Stirling?] at University of California, Berkeley (ca mid 1915) re ongoing work on the pituitary extract (Tethelin); also cost of preparing a patent submission; news of Joe Gilbert's death at the Dardanelles and impact at Pewsey Vale; uneasiness at not doing his part in the war but considers his work of more importance with its possible application in field-hospitals; the ill-health of Dr Watson (while serving in military hospital?); thanking Stirling for offer to pay for operation for Jeannie Robertson.
