Typescript copy of ‘Reminiscences of my life by Joseph Robertson' addressed to ‘My dear grandson' [= Brailsford Robertson?] written in London in 1894. Joseph Robertson, one time member of the Town Council of Hamilton' relates the political and social changes over his lifetime including agriculture, schools and school life, travelling and means of conveyance, The Post Office, and slavery over the last three quarters of the 19th century.
