The Elder Conservatorium's Lunchtime Concert Series run from March through to November in 2026. All Lunchtime concerts are held on a Friday. 

This Tony Award-nominated, hilarious, roller skating, musical adventure about following your dreams (despite the limitations others set for you) rolls along to the original hit score composed by pop-rock legends, Jeff Lynne and John Farrar. Based on the Universal Pictures cult classic movie of the same title, which starred Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly, Xanadu is hilarity on wheels for adults, children and anyone who has ever wanted to feel inspired.

Join legendary winemaker Jeffrey Grosset for an extraordinary 90-minute masterclass delving into the precision, purity and passion behind Australia’s most revered Rieslings and Clare Valley wines.

Within an intimate setting, this tasting experience offers guests a rare opportunity to explore Grosset’s craft, from the limestone soils of Watervale to the celebrated Polish Hill vineyards that define his legacy. Guided by wine critic and host Nick Stock, with insights from viticulturist Jill Bauer from Adelaide University, this session will unpack the meticulous balance of terroir, sustainability, and technique that has earned Grosset international acclaim.

& Juliet flips the script on one of the world’s most famous love stories and asks the question, “What if Juliet chose her own ending?” This vibrant, hilarious musical follows Juliet as she refuses to die for Romeo and instead embarks on a journey of self-discovery with her friends, new and old. Guided (and sometimes manipulated) by Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway, Juliet navigates love, identity, and independence in a world that is constantly rewriting itself.
