Counterfactual History as a Pedagogical Device in Teaching Historiography in the Senior History Curriculum.
What would have been the consequences if the French settled Australia instead of the English? Germany won the First World War? Dr. Grant Rodwell will present on the growing movement of Alternate History, where students are challenged to think about history in a different light. Academic historians are now seriously considering the place of Counterfactual History in their courses.
