Lamingtons, anyone? Homemade, we mean, and created with love from the South Australian Country Women's Association's near century of baking wisdom. Or perhaps it's a big day. How about a jaw-dropping five-layer pink ombre cake? Berry pavlovas and peach cakes in summer, fig tortes and plum streusel in autumn, winter's marmalade cake and spring's strawberry sponge.
These recipes have been passed down through generations and perfected over years. Come along to our next Friends event and meet the authors of this beautifully presented new book, Calendar of Cakes: recipes, tips and tricks from the SACWA.
