Belgian entrepreneur brings his Blue Economy to Adelaide

Wednesday, 20 September 2017

Belgian entrepreneur, best-selling author and a key speaker at the Tesla World event, Gunter Pauli, will demonstrate how his ‘Blue Economy’ model can create jobs, build business, and drive sustainability in South Australia, at a free public lecture at the University of Adelaide tomorrow.

Gunter Pauli will speak at the University of Adelaide's The Braggs lecture theatre and will launch The Blue Economy 3.0, from 11.30am–1.30pm, Thursday 21 September.

Edited by Dr Charlie Hargroves from the University of Adelaide's Entrepreneurship, Commercialisation and Innovation Centre (ECIC), this third edition of Pauli's book includes new material, as well as examples from Australia.

One of the world’s leading thinkers, Pauli travels the world advising governments, entrepreneurs and industry leaders on how to rethink the existing business models around production and consumption systems, to create self-sustaining ecosystems.

His approach has to date helped to create more than 3 million jobs and over 4 billion dollars in investment in 200 locations worldwide.
