We recognise these are challenging times with COVID-19 and acknowledge our recent health graduates are working across many metro, regional and remote locations globally.
To support health graduates early in their careers, we've arranged for a panel of mental health experts, researchers to share their experiences and offer some practical tips and strategies.
Facilitator:
Dr Michael Musker, Clinical Lecturer, Adelaide Nursing School, Mental Health Researcher (SAHMRI), will share his research about mental health and ‘imposter syndrome’.
Panellists:
Dr Michelle Atchison, Psychiatrist and current Vice-President of the Australian Medical Association in South Australia
Dr Angelo Papageorgiou, ADASA President, will discuss stress in dentistry; confinement, isolation and the stress of perfection.
Professor Lucie Walters, Director, Adelaide Rural Clinical School, research on resilience in clinical medicine – medical students, trainees and rural clinicians.
