Quad leader's summit 2023

With the University now being a member, join the Asia Society Policy Institute (ASPI) for a discussion on the next Quad Leaders' Summit as we focus on the Quad’s ambition and ability to influence the Indo-Pacific region.

With Japan's Presidency of the G7, India's Presidency of the G20, and the United States' hosting of APEC in 2023, the 5th Quad Leaders' Summit in Sydney will be the most high-profile international relations gathering on Australian soil in 2023.

One year on from Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the world and the Indo-Pacific region have become increasingly unpredictable. Nonetheless, the Quad leaders seek to strengthen their relations, and maintain a sense of equilibrium to avoid escalating tensions.

For a full analysis of what to expect from the Quad, join ASPI Vice President Daniel Russel and Senior Fellows Takako HikotaniRichard Maude and Raja Mohan in this global Asia Society program, featuring fellows from across each of the Quad nations. ASPI Research Associate Dominique Fraser will moderate the discussion.
