Health Equity Reading Group

Toby Freeman (School of Social Sciences) will discuss an article on the impacts of corporate social responsibility and the commercial determinants of health on worker wellbeing in China. Associate Professor Clemence Due (School of Psychology) will speak about the impact of temporary visas on refugees and asylum seekers in Australia. Tuesday 30 May, 12 pm. Online.

Remembering Holden

History of Holden

The Social Histories of Holden project features interviews with 100 former Holden workers who shared their experiences of working at Holden dating back to the 1940s. In this special SA History Festival event, the researchers and interviewees will talk about factory life, workers’ lives and how we can remember Holden into the future. Sophie Gonzales

Sophie Gonzales writes young adult queer contemporary fiction.
