The University of Adelaide’s 2022 Sustainability Week, which runs from Monday 22 August to Friday 26 August, is full of free events to foster positive discussions and practical sustainability on and off campus.

The week is a time of collaboration to empower the community. It includes events at North Terrace campus, the Adelaide Health and Medical Science building, Roseworthy campus, and other CBD locations. All events are open to the public.

“The theme for this year's event is empowerment, which includes empowerment as a consumer, as a future professional or leader, and as a global citizen,” says Professor Andy Lowe, Director of the University of Adelaide’s Environment Institute.

Professor Michael Goodsite, Director of the University of Adelaide’s Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Resources (ISER), says: “To meet the challenge of achieving a sustainable future we are going to have to bring together and integrate expertise and innovation in every facet of our activity, every step of the way.”
