Mid Year O’Week 2018 will be held from July 16 – July 20 2018.

There is a lot happening in O’Week and many choices you can make, but there are a few activities that you really must attend. Look for the COMPULSORY badge to make sure you attend these sessions if you are studying that degree or studying within that Faculty.

The International Student Support team have put together a great program to introduce you to the University and Adelaide in general. See the international program for full details of what is planned. It's recommended you come along to all the sessions to get the full benefit of the program.

Wednesday 18 July
Faculty Orientation Day
For all new students studying at the University of Adelaide, your Faculty have put together a comprehensive program to introduce you to your degree. See the Faculty Sessions for more information. Make sure you attend any compulsory sessions relevant to your degree. In addition, attend the Student Services Expo in the hub, as well as concerts, a FREE BBQ, and a Campus Quest.

Thursday 19 July
Thursday includes a compulsory session for Sponsored students, a Briefing for new Research students, and excursions to Botanic Gardens or Mt Lofty. See the international program for full details.

Friday 20 July
Some Faculties will still be running advice sessions on this day, check the Faculty sessions to see when your relevant session is being held.

For those looking to explore, join the fun day-trip to Victor Harbor and Urimbirra Wild-life Park.

International Program

The International Student Support team has arranged the following events for international students to get acquainted with University life in Adelaide. Join our International Peer Mentors at the Welcome Centre 9.00am-3.00pm Monday and Tuesday (16-17 July) for free specialty coffees and muffins each day until 11.00am. Play Giant Jenga, ping pong and Fussball with other new students and find out about programs to help you connect with the community – Experience Adelaide, Language and Cultural Engagement, Sports clubs, Study Adelaide and more!
