The Centre’s world-class work encompasses all aspects of orthopaedic research, including clinical management, basic science, bioengineering, pathology and epidemiology.

COTR’s multidisciplinary, multi-campus approach builds on a history of excellence in bone and joint research at the University, and is recognised as one of Australia’s leading academic centres in orthopaedics.Our research is undertaken across various campuses of the Adelaide Central Health Network, including the Royal Adelaide Hospital, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Women's and Children's Hospital, the Lyell McEwin Hospital and Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, as well as at affiliated private institutions.
