Access
The Access Request online forms initiates the on-boarding process for Professional Reports and Dashboards, Self Service and Planning Applications
Most users only need access to Professional Reports, Self Service is for advanced users and the Planning Applications have software license restrictions to specific roles.
Finance Professional Reports and Self Service have ‘data-level security’ which means you will be restricted to accessing data to your organisational unit e.g. Faculty, Division, School, Branch, etc. If you require access outside your area, written justification is required on the form.
Human Resource Professional Reports also have data-level security based on your position in PeopleSoft. If your position changes you will lose access to data in these reports and will need to submit another access request for your new position.

On-boarding process
Please complete a Cognos Access Request Form for the relevant area as detailed below:
Cognos Access Requests can only be processed for the staff member that completes the request. Access cannot be submitted on someone's behalf.

Complete training
If you select one of the Self Service areas, it is an audit requirement that you complete the relevant online training course. Once an approved form is processed by Planning & Analytics you will be enrolled in the online course in MyUni.
To complete the course you will need to submit a final exercise to panda@adelaide.edu.au. If the completed exercise has not been submitted within one month of getting access your self-service will be revoked.
