University Management Organisational Structure
The Management Organisational Structure (MOS) shows the relationship between faculties, schools and local units within the University. It indicates, among other things, which schools belong to which faculties.
When there is a change to the University's structure the data in its information systems must also change accordingly. As custodians of the Data Warehouse, Planning and Analytics coordinates the MOS change management process at the technical level.
This ensures that change requests are:
- authorised appropriately
- implemented consistently throughout the University's information systems
- communicated to the University community
The current Management Organisational Structure is effective from September 2018, incorporates approved changes since September 2004 and is the baseline against which new change requests are considered:
- 2018 Management Organisational Structure (Staff Only)
Various updates to the MOS are currently being processed. An updated MOS, effective from 1st January 2019, is presented below for reference purposes:
- 2019 Management Organisational Structure (Staff Only)
The 2018 MOS will remain effective across University information systems until 2019.
Changes to the MOS can be requested by completing the Change Request Form.
- Change Request Form (Staff Only)
The Process Map and the Roles and Responsibilities documents contain information to assist with completing the Change Request Form.
