Professor Geoff Harcourt is one of the country's most eminent economists and we are exceedingly proud of his long association with the University economics discipline; first as a student and then as a teacher. He was awarded the Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) in the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honours List for his service to higher education as an economist and author.
