Aim for the Stars/Aim for the Stars Indigenous
This funding is intended to improve research performance. In this program, star researchers from other institutions are invited to a School or Centre. This may take the form of individual stars visiting, or one day workshops with one or more stars, held in the School. They would present their own work and participate in presentations by HDRs and ECRs.
In order to foster the aims of the Tarrkarri Tirrka (Future Learning): The University of Adelaide Integrated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Strategy 2013-2023, the Faculty will also provide funding in order to develop and enhance Indigenous research across the Faculty and increase the number of Indigenous researchers within the Faculty. Schools and Centres may invite star Indigenous researchers from other institutions. This may take the form of individual stars visiting, or one day workshops with one or more stars. They would present their own work and participate in presentations by HDRs and ECRs. It is expected, though, that any stars invited under this scheme would also be made available to the Faculty as a whole or, in some cases, to the University, in order to assist with developing Indigenous research across the University.
