The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is an annual competition for Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students. Students have 3 minutes and 1 PowerPoint slide to communicate their research to a panel of judges and a non-specialist audience.

Reconciliation Week – Grounded in Truth: Walk Together with Courage

The Faculty of Professions Diversity and Inclusion Committee is working to promote a culture of aspiration towards improved representation of women and people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander. The Faculty will be taking part in National Reconciliation Week from 23 May to 3 June. These dates commemorate two significant milestones— the successful 1967 referendum, and the High Court Mabo decision.



IDAHOBIT Day – We stand with our LGBTI mates

The Faculty of the Professions Diversity and Inclusion Committee is dedicated to ensuring our students gain an enhanced sense of community and belonging in a positive environment. As part of our commitment to diversity and inclusion the Faculty of the Professions is celebrating IDAHOBIT Day on May 17 to show our support of the LGBTIQ community. We will display rainbow paper chain-links in the Nexus 10 Foyer as a visual symbol of solidarity.
