French Day on Campus

The University of Adelaide is excited to host 'French Day on Campus' in collaboration with the Embassy of France in Australia and Alliance Française.
'French Day on Campus' provides staff and students with the opportunity to engage with French institutions to find out more about research and study options, engage with French industry and businesses located in Australia and enjoy a cultural 'taste' of France.
Enjoy some free French pastries in the Hub between 10.20am - 11am and 12.50pm-1.30pm and music between 12pm-1pm.

Where: North Terrace campus, Hub Central and Radford auditorium (back of the SA Art Gallery)

New home for Dassault Systemes at University of Adelaide
Dassault Systèmes and the University of Adelaide have further strengthened their strategic partnership, with the announcement that Dassault Systèmes will establish its South Australian regional centre on campus at the University.
Dassault Systèmes, the 3DEXPERIENCE Company, world leader in 3D design software, 3D Digital Mock Up and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, particularly for the aerospace and defence industry, will create a new Adelaide-based team comprising staff from France and India, and will host University of Adelaide interns at its Adelaide operations. Dual Degree in Enginering
Skilled engineers for the Australian and global defence industries – specifically in submarine and ship building – will graduate from a new dual Master's degree in engineering to be offered in Australia and France. The University's Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Peter Rathjen, and the Director of ENSTA Bretagne, Mr Pascal Pinot, exchanged copies of a signed partnership agreement between the two institutions, in a meeting in Sydney with President Macron and Prime Minister Turnbull. The event was part of President Macron's official visit to Australia. Read more

Australian business start-ups wanting to gain a foot-hold in the European market will benefit from the assistance of a new University of Adelaide business incubator located in the heart of the Champagne region in France. Read more
Department of French Studies
The Department of French Studies at The University of Adelaide introduces students to the linguistic and cultural heritage of France and the Francophone world. 2018 marks the centenary of the appointment of John Crampton as the first Lecturer in French at the University of Adelaide. Read more
